Ezekiel was a prophet who had visions and prophesies regarding the Jews during their exile in Babylon. Ezekiel prophesied the continual destruction of Jerusalem as well as the final fall of the city. 

Towards the end of the book, Ezekiel has a vision of restoring the land and the temple, and of God's magnificence being restored in Israel.

Although difficult to understand, the key themes of the book of Ezekiel are healing and restoration.
